Martha Jean

Throughout the Caribbean, seafarers name their boats after their mother.  In keeping with this tradition, my skiff honors my mom who always encouraged me to follow my dreams.

Martha Jean is a Hell’s Bay  (www.hellsbayboatworks.com) Guide series powered by a 90 HP Yamaha.  Hell’s Bay was formed by Flip Pallot and Chris Morejohn to design and build the ultimate in shallow water skiffs.  They are considered the world’s finest boats and hand made one at a time in Titusville, Florida.

With a length of 18′ 4″ and a beam of 79″ she can safely and quickly get to the flats and provides a wide stable platform when you arrive.  By using space age composites, her hull weight is a mere 695 pounds and she can easily float in just 4″ of water getting you to areas untouched by most anglers.
